Alexandra Road, Weymouth

Alexandra Road provides support to people with complex health, communication and behavioural needs who may require a court of protection appointees. The housing scheme operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Alexandra Road is a large house in Weymouth that has recently undergone a conversion to create four flats. The four flats vary in size, from two bedrooms up to six bedrooms.

It has been neutrally decorated throughout, including the communal hallways and entrances. Each flat has its own kitchen with all the equipment required to prepare and cook a meal. Communal bathrooms have specialist baths and overhead hoists. There is also a laundry room with washing machines and tumble dryers.

Residents are encouraged to decorate their own flats with personal belongings and pictures. Every bedroom in the flats has en-suite facilities. There is a large enclosed garden which all the flats have access to and, where necessary, there is a ramp to make this easier.
