The Coast Care Centre was originally opened as a 44-bed hospital step-down unit in April 2020, through a block bed commission by East Sussex County Council to assist Social Services and the NHS during the Covid-19 crisis. Coast Care has permanently acquired the Centre and now accommodates residents who require nursing care on a permanent basis.
The Coast Care Centre can accommodate 44 residents. All the bedrooms have en-suite facilities. They are individually decorated and all have a bright outlook. There are three living areas, one of which is our large newly refurbished day centre, along with a coffee bar where drinks and snacks can be made. There is also a bright day lounge and a conservatory that overlooks the gardens. There is a lift to all floors and a wide ramp at the front of the property for ease of access.
