Hi Tracey
Lovely to hear from you, we are well and I hope you are doing ok in these difficult times.....Dad is doing ok, not sure if you heard but they moved him to Puttenhoe care home from the rehab unit so he is there as a respite patient. He seems quite settled but we are obviously unable to visit at the moment.
Before he moved to Puttenhoe they found he had some small ulcers on his other foot so that slowed his progress as he could not weight bear on that leg...once he can start physio again they will work towards a prosthetic so we are still hoping he will be able to go home at some point.
I want to thank you and the team for all the support both before and after Dad went into hospital, it really did keep him in good spirits and was a great help to us!!
Hope to be in touch again once Dad is home.
Best wishes to you and the team, stay safe and sane!!!

We've partnered with the care workers' charity to help promote the challenges carers are facing during the pandemic and to give those who are able a way to give directly to carers by donating to their charity.
Despite the Covid-19 pandemic thousands of carers across the UK choose selflessly to continue to go to work everyday and care for our loved ones because if they don't who else will. We think they deserve a huge thank you from all of us.
Please please do. If you’re a UK care provider and you’d like to show the messages of thanks you receive on your website and in turn help us promote our message you can easily add the Message of Thanks widget to your website.
