OSJCT Spencer Court

A lovely atmosphere Spencer Court has a lovely atmosphere, residents I visit seem very happy with the care the receive. Food, activities and care provided is of a very high standard. Residents say the carers go the extra mile.

A warm welcome I visited Spencer Court without an appointment and asked to look around. My brother and I were warmly welcomed and given a tour of this lovely home. Lots of information was provided and questions answered. We do hope they can provide a new home for our 94 year old mother who can no longer look after herself.

Our first visit We were shown round Spencer Court by the manager. Our first impressions were excellent, the manager is clearly very committed to their residents. There was a very obvious mutual respect which was exceptional. The circumstances you find ourself in can be very hard to come to terms with but the manager was extremely generous with their time and genuine care for us, despite it being the first time we met. I hope me Dad is able to secure a placement in Spencer Court.

Excellent surroundings Upon visiting Spencer Court for the first time, we were made to feel very welcome. We were taken around all areas and introduced to many of the staff. Excellent surroundings.

Warm, welcoming and very obliging Spencer Court has a very warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff are always very obliging and helpful with any requests. They are a busy group and always seeing to the residents many requests. At this moment they are preparing plants in pots, sunflowers, herbs and veg have been mentioned. It will be good therapy for residents nurturing and caring for these plants.

Caring and professional home Spencer Court appears to be a very caring and professional home. I visited to carry out a Best Interest Assessment on a resident, the staff appear very welcoming and caring and clearly had a sound knowledge of the resident which was reflected in the care plan.

Outstanding in many areas Spencer Court is outstanding in many areas. When you walk in the door you are greeted by happy, smiling staff who are always ready to assist, no job is ever met with anything other than a smile. Happy staff makes for contented residents. The grounds are stunning, and the home is always very clean. Food is excellent. Having been in several other homes I can categorically say that this is the best! this is all to do with an amazing manageress who keeps on top of everything and is obviously very well thought of by her staff.

Comfortable and cosy My relative has a nice light room at Spencer Court, the staff are very friendly and it is comfortable and cosy. Peaceful, but enough life to see when the door to her room is open.

Everyone is so helpful and kind TI feel at home living at Spencer Court. All of the staff here are so helpful and kind and the food is very good too.

I feel supported and safe TI am extremely happy living at Spencer Court, with my recent deterioration in health and unpredictable symptoms I feel supported and safe. The staff are great and encourage my independence and support me to get out and about into the local community, especially the church.
