Frethey House provides residential and specialist nursing care for up to 41 elderly people.

Set within beautiful rolling countryside, Frethey House is a beautiful double-fronted Victorian house on the outskirts of the Somerset village of Bishop’s Hull, the home also lies close to Taunton, providing easy access to a wide range of local amenities.

A continuous investment programme ensures that Frethey House benefits from the highest standards of accommodation throughout. The home retains a number of period features and all bedrooms and communal areas are finished to the highest standard. On fine days residents often take advantage of Frethey House’s attractive and peaceful gardens, which offer lovely views over the Somerset countryside.

Our home offers a full range of residential and nursing care support, including trial stays, short stay and convalescent care, as well as long-term care. Residents are encouraged to bring important personal possessions to personalise their rooms.
