The home has many comfortable areas to relax with friends and family including a choice of lounges and a charming garden where residents can enjoy a spot of light gardening, or simply take in the changing seasons and coastal air. We welcome frequent visits from relatives or friends and there is a visitors' parking area on-site.

All residents have private personalisable en suite rooms with a nurse call system, individual phone points and flat-screen TV. Several ground-floor rooms open out onto private patios offering an extra element of space and privacy. Small pieces of furniture, subject to meeting health and safety regulations can be accommodated.

Activities are organised around the interests of our residents as well as trying to offer them something new. Our varied social programme of group and one-to-one stimulating activities including regular outings to parks, markets and shops in and around the local area and day trips to places of interest.

The team at Ivy Gate Lodge support residents to keep active and to continue with their pastimes, interests and social groups, just as they would have at home. Residents may even invite their own personal hairdresser to visit them for haircuts in the on-site hair and beauty salon.

Ivy Gate Lodge is able to support people with a range of dietary requirements, including specialist diets. Our dedicated chefs prepare all meals for residents on-site to tempt even the smallest of appetites.
