Birch Abbey

Birch Abbey Care Home, based in Southport, supports residents with dementia care, dementia nursing care and dementia palliative care in a wonderfully calm environment. We are able to accommodate people with both short-term and long-term stays.

We are blessed with a brilliant team of qualified and experienced care staff who are on hand to assist our lovely residents 24 hours a day. The care we provide is person-centred and flexible to ensure that we are meeting all of our residents care requirements and preferences.

Here at Birch Abbey, we offer a vast and varied activities programme which evolves to make the most of the Great British seasons! Daily activities are planned for both morning and afternoon which take into consideration the interests of our residents. We also enjoy inviting community groups and schoolchildren into our home so that residents can stay connected with their local community.

All the residents at Birch Abbey have a unique, personalised care plan which takes into account not only care needs but the resident’s wishes. The care plan is continually monitored and updated to account for any changes to care needs or personal wishes.
