The Gables Care Home

The Gables Care Home in Chatteris, Cambridgeshire, is home to up to 49 residents over the age of 65 years. Chatteris is a historic market town with plenty of attractions such as the library, local history museum and weekly market.

We support our residents to make use of the communal areas of the home including comfortable lounges, the dining room, a salon and relaxing quiet spaces. As well as the communal areas, residents have their own bedroom which they are welcomed to make their own via bringing personal possessions.

Our residents look forward to mealtimes at The Gables, with meals being cooked by our talented catering team. We make sure to use fresh ingredients and use local produce where we can. All of our catering staff receive care related training giving them a broad understanding of the needs of our residents.

We encourage our residents to partake in the daily activities programme at The Gables. Activities are tailored to the interests of our residents as well as trying to offer them something new. If you’ve been a keen cook or gardener all your life we see no reason for this to change and our care staff will be on hand to support you.
