Rawleigh House

Rawleigh House provides accommodation with personal care to service users aged between 45 to 80 years.
The aim is to provide skilled support and a structured environment for individuals with a moderate to severe learning disability and other associated health needs. The service also provides facilities to help meet the physical care needs of the service users.

All service users living at Rawleigh House can expect to have a Person-Centred Individual Lifestyle Plan. This ensures a high quality responsive service that reflects the needs of the individual and enhances the quality of their life.

It comprises of 6 single bedrooms, some of which have en-suite facilities. In addition there are two assisted communal bathrooms with overhead hoists and specialist baths. Each service user is encouraged to make their bedroom as personal as they want.

There is also a large lounge with patio doors which lead into the garden, which also has ramped access. There is a separate large dining room and a large kitchen with newly fitted units. There is a lift in the entrance hall that gives access to the upstairs first floor rooms. Rawleigh House has a minibus and also a car, which help to ensure that service users have easy access to facilities in Sherborne and the surrounding area. The car is also used for holidays.
