Heathland House is a brand new care home in Ferndown, Dorset delivering expert respite, residential, and specialist dementia care to residents with a wide range of healthcare requirements. Our dedicated team of carers liaise closely with medical professionals to deliver 24-hour person-centred care.

Heathland House is located within easy reach of shops, amenities and transport services in Ferndown and is easily accessible from Bournemouth. Our luxury facilities include a café bar, piano lounge, cinema, and a professional hair and beauty salon. The home has secure gardens and patios with outdoor seating, where all residents can enjoy the changing seasons or alfresco dining, weather permitting.

The en-suite bedrooms are equipped with individual television and phone points and residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms with treasured possessions including small items of furniture provided they meet health and safety regulations. We also have a number of private suites, comprising an en-suite bedroom, lounge and kitchenette, which are an ideal choice for couples or those who prefer additional independence. Well-behaved pets are welcome by prior arrangements.

Our varied social programme of activities is planned with residents’ input and tailored to their interests as well as trying to offer them something new. We organise a wide range of group and one-to-one activities and events including day trips and outings to ensure that personal interests are encouraged within the home or out in the community.

Our expert chefs offer a choice of delicious, home-cooked meals catering to all tastes and diets, specific dietary needs or cultural requirements. Residents have access to a variety of culinary options from casual dining in the café to more formal restaurant dinners or private dining with visitors and friends for special occasions. Friends and family are welcome to enjoy lunch or dinner with us.
