Wellburn House

Wellburn House Care Home is situated in pleasant surroundings in Stockton-on-Tees, a short drive from the Durham Heritage Coast to the north, and the North Yorkshire coast to the south.

At Wellburn House we pride ourselves on the caring and empathetic attitude of our staff, which enables us to build up close relationships with residents, their families, carers and friends.

Although we can accommodate up to 90 people, our focus is very much on treating all our residents as individuals and affording them the respect and dignity they deserve. We also believe in empowering them as much as possible, encouraging them to remain active mentally and physically. We specialise in Dementia Residential care, with a qualified RGN as Home Manager.

At Wellburn House, as members of the team, we see ourselves as part of an extended family, which brings together residents, families, visitors, healthcare professionals, and many groups and organisations in the local community. We recently instigated a residents and relatives newsletter, which is a great way of keeping everyone in touch with what’s happening, and also helps to cement that feeling of us all being part of the Wellburn family.
