The Sycamores and The Poplars

A warm welcome to The Sycamore and Poplars Care Home, Mansfield. You’ll find our two care homes, Sycamore and Poplars, sharing the same tranquil setting close to Mansfield town centre. We’re close to local shops and other amenities while our good road and public transport links make day trips and visits easy.

Our team provides residential care for people who need a little help with daily tasks like washing, dressing and eating, along with general nursing care for those with more complex medical conditions. We also offer specialist residential or nursing care for those living with dementia, respite care to give family or friends a well-earned break and intermediate care as an alternative to a hospital stay. Residents are at the heart of life at Sycamore and Poplars and we’re very proud of our welcoming family atmosphere.

Listening to our residents is one of the most important things we do, so that we can truly get to know them and make sure they get the most out of every day. Our activities coordinators run a busy programme with lots of variety including bingo, seasonal events, games, trips and outings.

Before becoming a resident at The Sycamores and The Poplars our Management Team will have met the prospective resident and conducted a Care Needs Assessment. This initial assessment allows the Care Home Manager to put a full Care Plan in place and order any special equipment ahead of the resident moving into the home.
