Deterioration took place when Larchwood took over. Slops for food, rooms unclean, staff unable to speak English. When consulted person in charge said she could make no promises that anything would improve so that says it all. I battled for 12 months to get proper care for my husband. One of the relief carers came and found me one day to say how concerned she was at the lack of care and poor food. My regret is I did not move him sooner. I could not understand why they kept removing the laces in his canvas shoes. The result was he had a series of falls culminating in a very serious fall resulting in massive brain injury. The hospital did not want him going back to Copper Beeches and the last few months of his life were spent in another Nursing Home where he did get proper care and was well looked after. He died in July [Redacted content]. No I would not recommend this Home and for anyone with relatives in there be observant and question.

My Mother-in-law has been in the home for a few months, She is unable to weight bare but has been found in some places with no explanation as to how she got there.

There is a pressure pad fitted to her bed which sounds when there is no pressure on it but this seems to have not been heard by the nurses.

The home have changed the family doctor but have not communicated to inform us of this.
