North Court Care Home

You’ll find North Court set in its own pleasant gardens in the centre of the historic town, within easy reach of local shops, public transport and other amenities.

We provide general nursing care for people with complex medical needs along with specialist nursing support for those living with dementia, respite care to give family or friends a well-earned break and intermediate care as an alternative to a hospital stay. Our team takes pride in the warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the home.

Listening to our residents is one of the most important things we do, so that we can truly get to know them and make sure they get the most out of every day. Our busy activities programme includes flower arranging, gardening, book club, ladies’ lunches, a gentleman’s club and visits from local entertainers. The town centre is easily accessible and we have strong community involvement including our award-winning tea room garden.

For our residents with dementia it is really helpful if family members are able to support care-staff in putting together a Memory Book. Memory Books are a brilliant aide-memoire for residents and helps them to share their life-stories with staff and fellow residents.
