Newstead House

We provide residential and nursing care, on a long term, convalescent or short stay basis. Our team are long-serving at Newstead House, reflecting a happy and caring home.

The home was acquired by Heritage Manor group in early 2016, and has since undergone a refurbishment to make this established home both comfortable and appealing for its residents and staff. The home enjoys a wide range of communal area, with multiple lounges, dining rooms, conservatory and sheltered garden areas.

We are very proud to have first achieved the Gold Standard Framework accreditation in 2014. This award is for the highest level of end of life care and is awarded annually to the top nursing homes in the country for their outstanding care. We are delighted to have just received this award again for 2018. We pride ourselves on the end of life (or palliative) care we provide, the support we give to relatives and our close liaison with the local palliative care team. Equally important to us is the building of open and transparent relationships with relatives, advocates and the multi-disciplinary teams that we encounter on a daily basis.

As with all of our homes, we do our upmost to ensure our residents get the most they can from life. We have achieved the Gold Standard Framework for palliative care, an industry kitemark for care excellence that few homes are able to achieve.

Our food is locally sourced, cooked from fresh ingredients and so tailored to individuals’ wishes and needs.
