Lister House Nursing Home

Lister House nursing home in Bradford providers elderly residential and nursing care for up to 32 individuals with a range of needs including palliative support.

Our homes offers both full time care and respite, subject to room availability.

Our home was built between 1849 and 1896 as the Vicarage to St Pauls Church and still retains many of the period features throughout giving it a unique character. It has a very homely feel and because of the style of Lister House it generally appeals to our more elderly clients.

Inside Lister House we offer two lounges, a conservatory and two dining rooms. Residents are encouraged to make the home their own and are very welcome to bring personal items to their bedrooms.

Outside there is parking, a garden with seating in front of the house and also a secure open-air courtyard within the home.

We provide services that allow our ladies and gentlemen an enjoyable life with maximum independence and dignity in safe and comfortable surroundings. This is achieved by providing the appropriate degree of care and support necessary to meet the individual needs of each person.

We believe the individual care matched with a happy, homely environment encourages a fulfilled healthy life. Each resident has their own dedicated care plan which is tailored specifically to their individual needs, likes and requirements.
