Lauriston House

Lauriston House Care Centre is a 45 capacity care facility that takes on a number of personal care needs, as well as offering nursing and residential care for the elderly. There are specialist Carers who can support the needs of young people with physical disabilities and those suffering with dementia.

We encourage residents to make full use of shared areas at Lauriston House including lounges, the dining room and outdoor areas. Residents are also encouraged to personalise their bedrooms to their heart's content. It is important that their bedrooms are a space that they feel fully settled and comfortable in.

Friends and family are welcome at any time, hot drinks and snacks are always available and guests are invited to share meals with residents. The resident cook prepares three nutritious meals a day and the menu changes regularly to reflect seasonal produce.

There is an outstanding activities programme designed by Lauriston House’s Activities Coordinator around the resident’s interests, including: quizzes, sing-alongs, reminiscence therapy, indoor games, arts and crafts, baking and wherever possible trips out and about.
