Inglefield Nursing & Residential HomeNew member
Inglefield, a Victorian building, was originally the family home of Lord Beaverbrook. It accommodates 43 individuals withboth residential and nursing needs. All bedrooms are suitable for wheelchair use and many rooms have access to either patio or veranda facilities.
We believe it’s extremely important to promote independence and understand that all of our residents should be treated as individuals so each member has a plan of care designed around their requirements and preferences, granting them choice in aspects of their daily routine. We also welcome regular visits from family and friends.
There is a variety of communal space. Inglefield is to be found in the pretty village of Totland Bay which is located to the very west of the Isle of Wight. It is close to the shops and local amenities.
The home has a highly motivated and well trained team of staff who’s focus it is to deliver care of the very highest standard. Care is planned to suit individual needs and requirements.
At Inglefield, we firmly believe that the body and the mind are very closely linked and that keeping the body active, even for those who are perhaps less agile than they once were, can also do wonders for their state of mind. As such, we have an Activities Co-Ordinator on the team, whose role it is to run a programme of pastimes to stimulate both body and mind.
Please give us a call to discuss how we can help support you or your loved one at our care home in Freshwater, we look forward to welcoming you to Inglefield soon.
