A warm welcome to Bishopsmead Lodge Care Home, Bishopsworth. You’ll find Bishopsmead Lodge pleasantly situated in a residential area overlooking Kings Head Lane Park and our local cricket club, within easy reach of local shops, public transport and other amenities.

We provide round-the-clock specialist nursing care for residents living with complex medical needs. We also offer respite care to give family or friends a well-earned break and intermediate care as an alternative to a hospital stay. We’re proud of our home’s long-serving team members who have created a lovely family atmosphere that’s welcoming for our residents and their loved ones too.

Listening to people is one of the most important things we do, so that we can truly get to know them and make sure they get the most out of every day. Our busy 24-hour activities programme includes arts and crafts, cooking, music and movement, visiting entertainers and shared activities with the local community including the nearby bowling club.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are the cornerstone of daily life at Bishopsmead Lodge. We place importance on protecting residents meal-times as good nutrition and hydration are key to staying well. Our daily menu always offers a choice of at least 2 dishes for each meal time and individual dietary requirements are always catered for. Family members of residents are very welcome to ‘book-in’ and join us for a meal.
