You’ll find Beechcare in a pleasant rural setting surrounded by large mature landscaped gardens with views of the countryside and our visiting foxes, squirrels and rabbits.
Our team provides residential care for people who need a little help with daily tasks like washing, dressing and eating, along with general nursing support for those with more complex medical needs. We also offer both residential and specialist nursing support for people living with dementia, respite care to give family or friends a well-earned break and intermediate care as an alternative to a hospital stay.
Within our home is the Peter Gidney Care Centre, which specialises in looking after residents who have acquired brain injuries, spinal injuries and many other neurological conditions. Our resident’s ages range from 18 years onwards. We are proud to have recruited some of the most experienced nurses, physiotherapists and support workers in their field. Our dedicated nurse, therapists and support workers are experts at what they do. We are specialists, we are innovators, we are never complacent but we also know this: to get the best results you need not only expertise but also compassion. Kindness is at the heart of what we do.
Listening to our residents is one of the most important things we do, so that we can truly get to know them and make sure they get the most out of every day. We have a busy activities programme including arts and crafts, bingo, shopping trips, themed events throughout the year and visits from a travelling zoo.
