Lower Hanham road cares for up to 5 people with with learning disabilities as well as a range of other complex needs such as eldercare, non-verbal communication, autism and more. A team of seven staff provide 24 hour care to the residents including waking nights.
The homes' facilities consist of:

One additional bedroom upstairs
One ground floor bathroom and 2 toilets

Front garden with raised beds
Residents enjoy good links with the local community. Many people attend non-segregated groups, such as golden oldies and sing-alongs at Hanham Folk Centre.
Other activities include swimming, discos, day trips, bingo, walking and gardening.
One resident works on a farm four days a week where he looks after chickens, pigs and goats.
There's plenty going on in the home too. Residents relax with a variety of interests, including knitting, board games and karaoke.
