Westwood House Residential Home is situated in the picturesque market town of Ashby de la Zouch. This splendid house is a 3-storey Victorian building set within an acre of land. We have our own secluded gardens to the front, side and rear of the property and ample parking for visitors.
Our aim at Westwood House is to provide a happy and friendly atmosphere, enabling residents to enjoy a high quality of life. We recognise the need for our residents to feel relaxed and at home during their time with us.
Westwood House is a wonderful home, where dedicated, highly motivated staff are committed to maintaining excellent care. Our team appreciates the intrinsic value of people and we respect each of our resident’s uniqueness and varying personal needs, to ensure maximum comfort, wellbeing and happiness.
The aim of the home is to provide a warm, happy and secure environment within which the privacy and independence of our residents is respected. The range of accommodation consists mainly of single rooms, but there are companion rooms for those wishing to share. Residents are encouraged to bring their own possessions and furniture to make their room as homely as possible.
The home normally accommodates residents on a long-term basis, although some residents may be accepted for short-term respite stays.
Throughout the whole of Westwood House, the co-ordination of colours in furnishings, carpets and fabrics helps to create a very pleasant ambience. There are two large, welcoming lounges and a dining room with a seating area.
We provide plenty of enjoyment for our residents alongside lots of tender loving care. We take enormous pride in welcoming you to Westwood House where our skilled team of staff is in tune with the varying daily needs of each of our residents.
