The Oaks Care Home

You’ll find our home conveniently situated on London Road within easy reach of the village shops, public transport and other amenities.

Our team provides residential care for people who need a little help with daily tasks like washing, dressing or eating, along with nursing care for those with more complex medical needs. We also offer either residential or nursing care for those living with mental health conditions or learning difficulties, while respite care is available to give family or friends a well-earned break. Everyone here is very proud of the home’s warm and friendly atmosphere.

Listening to our residents is one of the most important things we do, so that we can truly get to know them and make sure they get the most out of every day. Our busy activities programme includes bingo, tea dances and regular day trips to local places of interest.

All the residents at The Oaks and Little Oaks have their own unique, personalised care plan. A care plan takes into account not only care needs but the resident’s wishes. The care plan is continually monitored and updated to account for any changes to care needs or personal wishes.
