The Farmstead has a philosophy that our residents’ lives will be enriched by their time living at The Farmstead. Our philosophy is that no one should come into our home unless we are going to make their lives better, make their days easier and support them to lead the life they want to lead.
The Farmstead has unique facilities where residents can enjoy their hobbies and interests. Our own cinema where residents and their families can enjoy a film together or celebrate a special anniversary or event. Our cosy coffee shop where residents can meet with their friends and visitors. Our hair salon where a pamper with a glass of wine or bubbles will enrich their day. An activity room where residents can explore old and new interests and hobbies.
Personalised care is at the heart of all we do. We understand moving into a care home can be a time of significant change and a feeling of loss for our residents and their family and loved ones until they settle in. We appreciate that no two individuals are the same, so our experienced team ensure that each person receives support to their wellbeing that is tailored to their unique needs, personality and wishes.
We take time to understand the residents we support. Learn their life stories and meet their family and friends so that we can understand and support their wellbeing on how best to meet their individual needs and improve their quality of life. Residents living with dementia may find it difficult to communicate what they need. Our individual approach and support of qualified staff are particularly helpful at this time. The priority is to give the best possible support and care, liaising with loved ones whilst helping our residents enjoy special moments together. Quality time together is important as especially as their care needs start to change.
At the Farmstead our five-star service offers residents the highest quality of care and support. Call in and meet the team, passionate about care and passionate about people with warmth and compassion where our values underpin everything we do. You are in safe hands.

Care homes have mostly cancelled all but essential visits to the home. They are providing telephone-based assessments and placing controls on admissions. Home care & live-in care providers are still delivering care in the community but have a huge demand for support at this time.
