Nazareth House Bonnyrigg is open to all, regardless of religion or creed. Our primary concern is the well-being, security and comfort of each resident, based on respect and treating all with the dignity that is their due.
The home is set in stunning large expansive grounds. The original house and accompanying land was originally a Scottish Baronial Mansion and was purchased by the Sisters in 1931.
At Nazareth House Bonnyrigg, we focus on supporting our residents to be as independent as possible, continuing many of their activities and hobbies and of course to introduce new interests. We encourage social activity whilst respecting privacy.
Our residents are involved in decision making in the home if they choose, we provide a welcoming and warm environment where people can feel safe and secure. We have a variety of different room styles and sizes and encourage our residents to bring personal items for their own rooms. All rooms have a nurse call system, allowing residents to access support as required.
