Bradshaw Manor Care Home is a purpose-built home set in landscaped gardens adjacent to the main promenade in Rhyl, Denbighshire. The seafront is within easy walking distance of the home, residents can enjoy watching the waves roll in and the taste of sea air by just stepping out the front door! We provide 24-hour nursing care and support to older people alongside expert care for people living with dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease.
Our team of Registered Nurses and Care Assistants provide 24-hour care to a maximum of 66 residents, all over the age of 18. Residents are supported with their own personalised care plan which not only takes into account their care needs but also their emotional well-being. Care staff are committed to protecting the dignity of our residents and care is delivered discreetly, maintaining the dignity of resident’s is of utmost priority.
Bradshaw Manor Care Home are part of a group of care homes called Barchester. Barchester operate a number of care services across the UK and individual home’s are supported to provide the very best in dementia care. Dementia care is delivered within our specially designed ‘Memory Lane Communities’, an adapted environment which offers a safe, secure and reassuring home for our residents with dementia. Staff our supported by seven dementia specialists, led by our Director of Dementia Care, Caroline Baker.
All of our residents have their own comfortable bedrooms which are fully furnished, complete with electric profiling beds. During the day we encourage residents to come together in the communal areas of the home. No matter what your hobbies, there will always be something going on which appeals to your interests. Whether want to curl up in a quiet lounge and read the newspaper or fancy something more energetic, our team of Activities Coordinators are always on the go!
Tasty food is guaranteed at Bradshaw Manor Care Home, our Head Chef leads a team of kitchen staff in creating delicious home-cooked meals. Residents have a choice of a hot or cold breakfast, a 2-course lunch and a 2-course dinner; nobody ever goes hungry. Dietitians support our kitchen team to cater for people with specially adapted diets.
