Archers Court Care Home is situated in Farringdon, a residential suburb of Sunderland. Providing residential, nursing and specialist dementia care for up to 40 elderly people. Our dedicated care staff undertake ongoing training to ensure they can meet the ongoing care needs of all residents.

All residents have their own bedroom complete with ensuite bathroom which they are free to personalise as they like. We know that the addition of home comforts really helps people to settle into life at the home. There are multiple communal areas of the home for socialising, activities and sharing a bite to eat. The home’s secure and fully accessible garden is popular with resident’s in the summer months.

We are very lucky to have our own Chef at Archer’s Court, assisted by a team of kitchen staff who take pride in catering for the dietary requirements of all residents. Three freshly cooked meals are served daily, along with a range of tea-time treats!

Moving into Archer’s Court is an opportunity for residents to form friendships and take part in a number of activities. Our dedicated Activities Coordinator tries to plan a varied activities programme which caters to the interests of all residents. The home has an open door policy and has great links with the local community.
