We do not sell, trade or share personal information with organisations or individuals which are not connected with the Service. This section explains what information is stored and how it is used.
1. Information that we collect and store
We only collect, store or use information that we consider necessary for the purpose of providing the best service possible to all of our members and website user. You are free to browse our website without providing any personal information to us.
Service users who wish to leave feedback about one of our members or who wish to monitor a member and receive regular email updates must register and provide us with their name, contact details and a secure password. To validate service provider feedback we ask to see a copy of a Care Plan, Contract of Care or Invoice which links the reviewer to the service provider. Once feedback is validated we destroy this information after 30 days of the review being published.
We ask Service Providers when registering for more detailed information in relation to each service location and the organisation on the whole including, ownership type, services and facilities offered, association to industry organisations and payment details.
We store all information on our secure server.
2. How we use this information
We check the accuracy of the information that you provide on registration and during your continued use of the Service and remind you of your obligations to provide accurate information to us as set out in clause 5 of our User Agreement.
As part of the process of verifying a Service Provider we carry out, either directly or via carefully selected and appropriately regulated third party data verification agencies, identity verification checks on the organisation to verify the information you have provided to us.
This may include cross-referencing the information which you have provided us with the Care Quality Commission, The Care Council of Wales, The Care Inspectorate, If you do not consent to such checks being carried out please do not register with us.
We may use the contact information you provide to contact you via telephone, email, fax or post regarding your registration, service user feedback or any other matter that we consider relevant to your use of our Service.
We may use any information we collect about you, including any information we may have obtained from your use of the Service, to resolve disputes, provide customer support, troubleshoot problems and enforce our User Agreement and policies. We may look across multiple users to identify problems or resolve disputes. In the unlikely event that fees remain unpaid on a Member's account, we may pass your business information to a credit recovery company.
We may disclose your personal data if we are compelled to do so by law, or in response to a valid, legally compliant request by a law enforcement or governmental authority. We may also disclose aggregated demographic and profile data (in which neither you nor any other individual is identified) to our commercial and marketing partners.

To prevent unauthorised access, maintain accuracy of our records and to ensure proper use and protection of Your Information, we have put appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures in place.
We use performance cookies on this website for internal purposes to help us to provide you with a better user experience. Information supplied by cookies helps us to understand how our visitors use the website so that we can improve how we present content to you.
For the above purposes we use Google Analytics. This is a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. Google Analytics sets a cookie in order to evaluate use of those services and compile a report for us.
Google Analytics does not collect any information to personally identify visitors but, if you wish, you can opt out of Google Analytics cookies.
