Tall Trees

Tall Trees provides residential, nursing and dementia care for up to 60 elderly people, including trial stays, respite breaks and convalescent care as well as long term care.

Located in the village of Shipton-under-Wychwood in the rural and beautiful county of Oxfordshire, our purpose build care home looks over the local cricket ground and wildflower meadows. The building has a light, airy and welcoming ambience and residents benefit from a broad and stimulating range of activities.

Tall Trees is ideally equipped to provide support for elderly people living with different types of dementia, including Alzheimer’s Disease, Vascular Dementia and Korsakoff’s Syndrome.For our residents with dementia it is really helpful if family members are able to support care-staff in putting together a Memory Book. Memory Books are a brilliant aide-memoire for residents and helps them to share their life-stories with staff and fellow residents.

Our daily menu at Tall Trees always offers a choice of at least 2 dishes for each meal time and individual dietary requirements are always catered for. Family members of residents are very welcome to ‘book-in’ and join us for a meal.
