St George’s Nursing Home specialises in care for adults with dementia, together with specialist conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, and Korsakov’s syndrome. The facility is ideal for physical disabilities and carers are experienced in respite, convalescence and palliative needs.
Pleasant communal areas and a secure courtyard garden allows for a relaxing living atmosphere, with residents able to enjoy privacy or the homely social areas as they please.
An experienced chef gets to know residents’ individual dietary needs, with freshly-made seasonal produce and homemade cakes made to make birthdays special.
There is a mobile library and hairdresser on-site, with some of the activities residents can get involved in including gardening clubs, film and photography, physical fitness and reminiscence therapy.
