Shockerwick House is a historic building that has been lovingly converted into a care facility, offering nursing and residential care, support for adults with a physical disability, convalescence, palliative and respite provision.
Eighteenth century charm and scenic surroundings add to the homely comforts, with a secure entry and exit system, good wheelchair access and a 24-hour call system so that residents feel secure and safeguarded.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are the cornerstone of daily life at Shockerwick House. We place importance on protecting residents meal-times as good nutrition and hydration are key to staying well. Our daily menu always offers a choice for each meal time and individual dietary requirements are always catered for. Family members of residents are very welcome to join us for a meal.
We encourage our residents to take part in the daily activities programme at Shockerwick House. Activities are tailored to the interests of our residents as well as trying to offer them something new.
