Riverside House

Riverside House is a Morpeth facility well thought of in the region for the high quality of care its professionals provide in relation to the needs of up to forty-six individuals.

The service has been set up to incorporate the needs of residents with dementia, as well as having experience of helping those with Parkinson's, motor nearone disease and multiple sclerosis. For our residents with dementia it is really helpful if family members are able to support care-staff in putting together a Memory Book. Memory Books are a brilliant aide-memoire for residents and helps them to share their life-stories with staff and fellow residents.

All of the home's rooms are en-suite and are available for respite care needs, with carers also running a day care service for the local community. All of our residents have their own bedroom which they are encouraged to make their own. All rooms come equipped with electric profiling beds and furnishings. Should a new resident wish to bring their own items of furniture then providing they pass health and safety regulations we will do our best to accommodate this.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are the cornerstone of daily life at Riverside House. We place importance on protecting residents meal-times as good nutrition and hydration are key to staying well. Our daily menu always offers a choice of at least 2 dishes for each meal time and individual dietary requirements are always catered for. Family members of residents are very welcome to ‘book-in’ and join us for a meal.
