Pellon Care Centre

A warm welcome to Pellon Care Centre, Halifax. You’ll find us a quarter of a mile from the town centre in a pleasant setting overlooking Shroggs Park and the countryside beyond. If you use public transport then the local bus stops right outside.

Our team provides residential care for people who need a little help with daily tasks like washing, dressing or eating, along with nursing care for those with more complex medical needs. We also offer residential care for those living with dementia, respite care to give family or friends a well-earned break and intermediate care as an alternative to a hospital stay. Everyone here takes great pride in the warm, friendly atmosphere throughout the centre.

Listening to people is one of the most important things we do, so that we can truly get to know them and make sure they get the most out of every day. Our busy activities programme includes visits to the lake, entertainers, pet therapy and arts and crafts.

Good nutrition and hydration are an important part of staying well as we age. Pellon Care Centre is able to support people with a range of dietary requirements, including specialist diets. Our Home Chefs do their best to tempt even the smallest of appetites and sweet treats are always provided to celebrate special occasions!
