Mill House

Mill House is a purpose-built care home situated in the heart of the delightful market town of Chipping Campden, offering the highest standard of residential, nursing and dementia care for up to 45 elderly residents in a friendly and supportive environment, including trial stays, respite breaks and convalescent care as well as long term care. Our care home benefits from being only walking distance from the bustling High Street, yet set back enough to enjoy fine views over the beautiful countryside.

Mill House provides residents with a true Care Pathway by offering a full suite of residential, nursing and dedicated dementia care. As such, residents may rest safe in the knowledge that the home can cater for their care needs both now and in the future.

Mill House Care Home’s dementia care provision has been designed to meet the University of Stirling’s standards, which are widely acknowledged as providing the best living environment for people living with dementia. Stirling’s Dementia Services Development Centre is renowned as the world leader in this field. The Stirling approach ensures that residents are able to move freely around the home, with bedrooms and communal areas appropriately laid out and clearly signposted to minimise confusion or disorientation. Each bedroom features a memory box by its front door, where mementos from a resident’s life help to personalise their room and also remind staff and visitors of the individual’s life story.

Residents are encouraged to bring important personal possessions to personalise their rooms. Mill House operates an open visiting policy, where residents and loved ones may visit at convenient times.
