Lauriston

Providing personalised residential, nursing and dementia care to 60 individuals, Lauriston care home is situated close by to the coast in St Leonards on Sea.

Amongst the activities organised by our Activity Coordinator are singing, bingo, quizzes, games, baking, afternoon tea and coffee mornings, animal visits, film afternoons, flower arranging, gardening (outdoors and indoors), craft sessions and knitting. Our Chaplain provides spiritual and well-being support to both residents and their families.

Residents enjoy pampering in our on-site beauty salon which offers hair & nail care and hand massages. For those who enjoy a spot of shopping, we arrange a weekly trip to the shops. Whatever our resident's wishes are, we will try our best to accommodate them.

Our specially trained music therapist provides award-winning music therapy to residents living with dementia via live music therapy sessions. The sessions include singing, playing simple percussion instruments or responding to musical cues in a one-to-one or group setting.
