Hatfield Residential and Nursing Home in Hertfordshire supports residents with residential, nursing, dementia, respite and palliative care. We can continue to provide excellent care for our residents as their needs change or increase meaning that we can be a home for life.

A much-loved part of our Hatfield home is our large, fully enclosed garden. Residents enjoy tending to the herb & vegetable patches which are then used by our Chef, Suzanne, to cook up wonderful meals. We also have raised flower beds and a fish pond with koi carp which our residents love to watch. Some of the ground floor residential bedrooms have direct access to the wheelchair friendly gardens.

We enjoy all kinds of fun activities at Hatfield and are fortunate to have 4 Activities Coordinators who tailor activities to our resident’s interests and abilities. Our residents love watching sports in our very own themed pub ‘The Comet’ and visiting the hairdressing salon for manicures and hand massages. We also have a vintage cinema room which is used for movie nights, virtual music sessions and church services. The nursing area has a dementia cafe where residents enjoy taking their families when they visit us.

All of the spacious bedrooms at Hatfield have their own en-suite walk-in wet room showers, providing our residents with privacy. Bedrooms have wifi and alarm systems in both the bedroom and bathroom for peace of mind.

Hatfield is able to support both permanent & respite stays for people over the age of 65. Supporting residential and specialist dementia; dementia care is provided within our dementia neighbourhood. We aim to support residents to live with dignity in comfort & style through to the end of their life. Hatfield is registered for residential care only but our residents are supported with visits from the District & Community Nursing teams.
