Gifford House is a purpose built care home, which caters for sixty-one residents with dementia and elderly people who require Nursing care. The Home is divided into three units to care for those requiring dementia or frail elderly nursing care.
Betts unit on the ground floor is devoted to caring for people who have nursing needs but who do not suffer with dementia.
Radcliffe and Linford units are for people with dementia nursing requirements.
During the day each unit has a nurse in charge assisted by a minimum of three carers. At night the Home has two qualified members of staff on duty, assisted by four carers.
Our aim is to work with residents, family members, social workers and health authority staff to make the move to Gifford House as smooth and comfortable as possible.
Please feel free to contact us, for whatever reason, since it is our belief that Gifford House is the residents' Home and that it is we, the staff and management, who are the guests.
