Chiltern View care home in Dunstable, offers respite, residential, palliative, convalescence and specialist dementia care for elderly residents with a wide range of healthcare needs. 24-hour care is provided by our highly-trained team of Care Assistants led by our experienced Management Team.

Our care home is situated on a residential street within walking distance from Dunstable town centre and close to local transport services and amenities.

Chiltern View care home supports our residents to maintain their independence and lifestyle and has been awarded the recognition of the care of its dementia residents. The residents association meets regularly to share ideas and influence the day-to-day running of the home. Communal areas include a sensory lounge and a dementia-friendly landscaped garden.

Our experienced carers work individually with each resident to develop a care plan and liaise closely with healthcare professionals to cover all aspects of care as required. We offer a varied range of social activities to participate in group and one to one activities. These activities are planned so that personal interests and activities are encouraged and supported but participation is optional.

All of our residents have private rooms which they are encouraged to personalize and make their own. Should a new resident want to bring their own items of furniture then subject to passing health and safety regulations we will do our best to accommodate this. Small, well-behaved pets are welcome at Chiltern View providing they meet certain requirements and by agreement with the manager.
