Charnwood

You’ll find our home conveniently situated close to the train station and bus stops, just two minutes’ walk from the town centre shops and other amenities. All of our residents have their own bedroom which they are encouraged to make their own. All rooms come equipped with electric profiling beds and furnishings. Should a new resident wish to bring their own items of furniture then providing they pass health and safety regulations we will do our best to accommodate this.

Our team provides residential care for people who need a little help with daily tasks like washing, dressing or eating, along with nursing care for those with more complex medical needs.

We also offer both residential and nursing care for those living with dementia or enduring mental health conditions, respite care to give family or friends a well-earned break and specialist intermediate care nursing as an alternative to a hospital stay. Everyone here takes great pride in the warm friendly atmosphere throughout the home.

We encourage our residents to partake in the daily activities programme at Charnwood. Activities are tailored to the interests of our residents as well as trying to offer them something new. If you’ve been a keen cook or gardener all your life we see no reason for this to change and our care staff will be on hand to support you.
