Charing House Care Home in Gillingham, Kent is set in its own grounds, within walking distance of transport services, amenities, local shops and is adjacent to Gillingham Park. The home has many bright, spacious areas for residents to relax or socialise with friends and relatives including a large courtyard patio with raised flower beds and outside seating where residents can get involved in gardening, planting or simply enjoy the changing seasons. We welcome frequent visitors and pride ourselves on our open and friendly atmosphere to support families wishing to visit their loved ones.

All residents have private, ensuite rooms with their own television and phone points. We encourage residents to make rooms their own space by adding personal touches and treasured belongings. Requests for personal items of furniture can be accommodated subject to passing health and safety regulations. We are a pet-friendly home and small, well-behaved pets are welcome by prior agreement with the manager.

Activities inside the home and local outings within the community are tailored to the interests of our residents as well as trying to offer them something new. We offer a varied range of group and one to one activities.

Charing House Care Home specialises in seasonal, freshly cooked, tasty food with plenty of choices. We are able to support people with a range of dietary requirements, including specialist diets. Our Home Chefs tempt even the smallest of appetites with nutritionally balanced meals and regularly update the menus.
