Cedar Court Nursing Home (Dementia Unit)

Cedar Court Dementia Care Home is registered for 45 residents and specialises in the care and protection of people living with different forms of dementia and other mental health conditions.

Nestled within glorious landscaped parkland and offering beautiful countryside views, the home is conveniently situated on the edge of the National Forest. Its enviable rural location is close to the Derbyshire, Staffordshire and Leicestershire borders, which is ideal for access and days out.

Cedar Court Dementia Care Home is a characterful property, which has been completely renovated to provide facilities of the highest standard. These refurbishments have maintained the home’s comfortable, secure and friendly environment. Cedar Court have 29 rooms on the ground floor and a specialised unit with 16 bedrooms for those with more challenging needs - this unit is for males only.
The home is surrounded by stunning parkland, and many of our more able residents enjoy a pleasant walk through the tranquil Derbyshire countryside.

We have a beautiful garden, which has been specifically designed for people living with Dementia. It includes seating areas, plants, flowers and garden ornaments, as well as a selection of games that residents are welcome to access.

The home benefits from several lounge and dining areas, encouraging residents to enjoy a wide variety of activities and past times while enabling them to have quiet time if preferred.
