Staff are dedicated to promoting independence and well-being and developing individual’s daily living, social and life skills. Levels of support vary according to individualised needs and the focus is on promoting independence, learning and life skills.
Individuals are encouraged to join the local college and also seek work opportunities in the local area and some are supported in playing more of a domestic role within the home – gardening and baking. Regular activities take place within the home such as movie nights, arts and crafts, outdoor games and games evenings.
The service offers two comfortable lounges and dining room and a pleasant, spacious garden. Well served by public transport and with only a 5 minute walk into town individuals can enjoy local community and leisure amenities – such as social clubs, swimming, restaurants, shopping either independently or in groups. Regular day trips are also organised to the coast and places of interest
