Braeburn Lodge Care Home is situated in the large village of Deeping St James, Peterborough, not far from the A15. Supporting a maximum of 60 residents over the age of 55, with Nursing, Residential or Dementia care needs.
The interior of our Memory Lane Community is designed to be dementia friendly. Colour and lighting is used to to help people with dementia navigate their way through the home. Residents have their own comfortable bedrooms, complete with en-suite bathrooms, which they are encouraged to personalise. Adding favourite items, including photographs and treasured keepsakes can really help people with dementia to settle into their new home.
Our activities team at Braeburn Lodge pride themselves on creating an inclusive environment which allows residents to pursue hobbies as well as providing new experiences. We love welcoming local community groups into the home, recent events include choral performances from the church and performances from local school children.
Our daily menu always offers a choice of at least 2 dishes for each meal time and individual dietary requirements are always catered for. Family members of residents are very welcome to ‘book-in’ and join us for a meal.
