Belstead Villa is a transitional service for individuals aged between 18 – 25 years consists of 4 self contained flats and is adjacent to the service at Belstead Mews for 14 – 18 year olds.
Suitable for those with learning disabilities, autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs, both services focus on providing a progressive service to support individuals through the transition from childhood to adulthood.
Belstead Villa supports individuals to prepare for moving to adult services; teaching individuals how to live independently, developing life skills and using transport more independently.
As an organisation, Consensus has been successful in supporting those who have experienced placement breakdowns elsewhere or whose needs have been difficult to meet in a family setting. Individuals are supported in managing their own living environment within their self-contained apartment.
