About

Anston Brook

Anston Brook House is our flagship transitional learning disability service in Dinnington. It offers a modern; high-quality; homely environment that is fit for the demands and expectations of the 21st century.

The large, stylish accommodation, together with our professionally qualified staff and our state-of-the-art facilities creates a standard of care for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs that is dignified, outcome focused, person centred and encourages an active, independent life.

Anston Brook House has been furnished to a high standard and boasts a number of spacious and functional rooms that can be used to accommodate the needs of individuals within a shared home. All of these elements promise to enrich and vary the daily life of our clients.

We have an on-going commitment to developing independence and moving our clients along their individual care pathway. Our aim is that individuals will remain with us for eighteen months to two years at which point they can transition onto a more independent setting. For example, our semi-independent service Waterside House or our supported independent living houses in Sheffield.

All seven bedrooms are of a very generous size and are fitted with en-suite facilities with shower, as well as the adaptable communal areas including an extensive conservatory overlooking the stream.
The aim is to have a real sense of community for our clients living at Anston Brook House as well as providing the necessary space for people to spend time on their own if they desire.

At Anston Brook House we are able to provide support to individuals with a variety of needs ranging from Asperger’s syndrome to complex physical health needs. We are also committed to offering as respite calendar as part of our transition assistanc
