There are four separate houses at Anglesea Heights Nursing Home, each of which welcomes people requiring short and long-term stays, and includes convalescence, respite and palliative care. The four houses specialise in: early onset dementia nursing care, elderly frail and palliative care, middle stage dementia and nursing care, and late stages of dementia and challenging behaviour.
A converted Victorian building, residents enjoy a stylish interior and landscaped gardens. Each house has a lounge, dining room and its own kitchen.
Varied menus that are tailored to residents’ tastes and health needs including choices of hot dishes, desserts and cooked breakfasts. Residents can enjoy sharing lighter options and snacks throughout the day with visitors as well as afternoon tea.
Reminiscence and music therapy groups are part of a varied activities programme, assisted by visiting music therapists. Themed events involving the local community and schools are also a part of the organised activities.
