50 Burton Road

50 Burton Road is a small residential service, located close to the town centre in Branston, Burton on Trent. This service offers support to three individuals with a learning disability and associated complex needs.

Individuals living at 50 Burton Road benefit from a knowledgeable staff team who work with them to create Person Centred Care Plans and Positive Behavioural Support Plans which enable them to receive consistent support. Within this service, each individual is encouraged to devise and engage in a weekly programme of activities to include opportunities for education, leisure and social activities alongside further development of independent living skills such as budget management, cooking and travelling independently.

Individuals within the service are encouraged to make decisions regarding décor and furniture in both communal and personal spaces. A key working system supports the development of therapeutic working relationships with staff members and supports individuals to achieve their identified goals. The aim for individuals living within this service is a move on to more independent living if they so choose.
