At 36 Hurstville Drive we provide support to five individuals. The home is a detached house situated in a cul-de-sac in a quiet residential area of Waterlooville. The staff team are fully trained and experienced in working with people with a range of complex needs associated with their learning disability including autism, epilepsy, physical disabilities and communication needs.

A person centred approach is essential in supporting people in their everyday lives. We promote confidence and empowerment and ensure that individuals are encouraged and supported to lead active and fulfilling lifestyles. Each person is fully involved in the design and implementation of their unique support plan, which is tailored to meet their individual needs, goals and aspirations.

The people who live at Hurstville Drive access a variety of community based activities to support their development. There is a vehicle based at the house and good public transport networks close by.

The vacancy is suitable for a young adult moving out of children’s services/residential school for the first time who requires this nurturing and supportive service to develop independent living skills in order to move to more independence in the future.
